We’re Launching an Intelligence Quorum, JohnWallStreet’s Exclusive Membership Community

There is wisdom in wise crowds. And no publication or brand has a more educated audience than JohnWallStreet.

Our expansive network of influential decision-makers across sports and media enables us to regularly deliver actionable insights, host exclusive events, and advise progressive leaders on how to successfully navigate a rapidly shifting landscape.

But we know that our target audience requires more inputs… and believe the way to unlock the greatest number of them most efficiently is to bring that group closer together. So, tomorrow we will formally launch JohnWallStreet’s Intelligence Quorum (aka JWS IQ), our exclusive membership community.

JWS IQ is a club for high-level sports and media executives who want to exchange knowledge, solve challenges, and build meaningful connections with peers across the industry. Think YPO x Soho House—but for sport’s leaders.

Members benefits will include (but are not limited to):

✅ JohnWallStreet Event Tickets – One seat at all ‘JohnWallStreet Live’ and ‘Sports & Media Huddle’ events, plus a 50% discount on the purchase of one additional seat to each of our events

✅ Thematic Research – One copy of each thematic report JohnWallStreet publishes, plus 50% off the purchase of additional research licenses

Private Think Tanks – Access to our quarterly, members-only, virtual roundtables, and small-room members-only gatherings

✅ Job Board Placements – Complimentary postings on the JohnWallStreet job board

✅ Exclusive Merchandise – Access to members-only brand collaborations

✅ Private Virtual Community – Access to our members-only Circle community

Our Circle Community may be the benefit that provides IQ members with the most value. The platform will serve as a virtual meeting place or a ‘group text’ for the sharpest minds in sports and entertainment to share their thoughts, insights, and best practices.

Brad Wolverton (formerly of The Hustle, where he ran their high-end B2B community) has been tasked with populating Circle with news, research, and other intelligence, and with moderating the conversation there. That includes ensuring all discussions on platform remain private.

JWS IQ will operate under ‘Chatham House’ or ‘Vegas Rules’. We know that leaders only open up when there is complete trust in confidentiality.

And our club is designed for those residing in the C- or ownership suites.

Membership, already 45 strong and growing, includes:

🏆 Big four team owners and presidents
🏆 Challenger league CEOs
🏆 Power 4 ADs and conference commissioners
🏆 The chairman of a publicly traded sports betting operator
🏆 Chief Operating, Revenue, and Marketing Officers across leagues and teams
🏆 Prominent VCs and PE investors
🏆 Senior media executives
🏆 Late-stage sports tech and media company founders

Simply put, this is the most impressive collection of sports leaders ever assembled—and we’re just getting started!

We are planning to add ~100 more members and cap the group at 150 in the days/weeks ahead. We have asked each IQer to nominate two peers that they believe would add value to the collective.

The only way to gain entry into our community will be to receive an invitation from an existing member and approval from JWS. That process will help to ensure membership levels –and the IQ’s value– remain high.

As will the annual membership fee. We’re creating the most exclusive and valuable insider group in sports. Membership can’t be cheap or easy to come by.

JWS IQ is not meant to be a heavy lift for participants. There are no hard time requirements.

We are simply asking that community members engage in the conversation when they can add perspective, contribute content they come across that others might find informative, and attend our events when possible.

If each does that, JohnWallStreet won’t just have the ‘wisest crowd’–it’ll have one that is pushing the industry forward together.

Here’s to raising sports’ collective IQ!
